We will first check out the events that used the old pre Dataslate and then check in on a lot of RTT data that used at least the new points. Lots of interesting results from the post Dataslate Info.

3 GT’s + 28 RTTs that had at least 10 players and also used the new points.

Spicy Takeaways:

Based on this very early look and yes things will change with actually GT numbers coming in the next few weeks but I think GW has accomplished some of what they wanted with this datalsate. Is it enough? That I am unsure.

I am going to treat the Drukhari as a bit of an outlier as 3 of their 9 players won their RTTs which really helps their numbers.

Ok for LoV, Space Wolves, DG, Black Templars, Tau, World Eaters, Dark Angels and Guard there seems to be a real boost in performance. GW seems to have done enough here.

Ok the Big Aeldari in the room. They might not have moved at all which has me very concerned. Now I thought they got a big enough hit for that number to come down somwhat and it might once things settle out here in a few weekends but I am worried that the best we can hope for is that they become a 60% win rate faction, hopefully I’m wrong and they get closer to 50%.

The other factions GW hit with nerfs felt it with all 5, GSC, Custodes, 1Ksons, Imperial Knights and Deathwatch falling from their top spots, pass the mid tables this weekend and showing up here below the 45% win rate. Who can climb out of this fall? My bet is GSC.

Blood Angels, Sisters and GK might still be the worst preforming armies. With GK I think it will just take reps in as it is not an army that wants to fight which is hard to accept.

Codex SM didn’t move which is surprising to me. There seems to be play in the other SM sub factions but not much here.

While Necrons, CSM and Nids seemed to have weathered the changes still in the mid-range. Can they hold on as things shake out?
