While the Cats away the SM will play

Hello Generals, with WTC coming up there were a lot of Team events this weekend which made for a quieter Solo event weekend. With so much of the Competitive scene focused on Team Events is this the reason we saw GK and SM in more of the top spots?

Takeaways:

Custodes won 2 events this weekend while being the most played faction. First time since the start of 10th that Aeldari have lost that spot. Custodes had very healthy 50% win rate and even with the mirror taken out it climbs to a 54% win rate with 8 players going X-0/X-1.

45% of all Aeldari players went X-0/X-1. Maybe the pairings worked out so that they eliminated each other form the top spots. They won 2 events and had a 65% win rate which was 70% with the mirror removed. I cant believe that number, 18 out of 40 players dropped at most 1 game… GW Please

Necrons won 2 events! With a 50% win rate and 6 top finishes they seem to be in a health spot.

So why did SM and other SM verity place so much better this weekend? Is it because the sharks were playing at Team Events? Aeldari numbers didn’t tank but something was different this weekend?

Grey Knights had 2 top finishes and a healthier win rat at 41%.

Deathwatch is creeping up with a 55% win rate and 2 top spots.

Dark Angles also had a nice weekend with good player numbers and a 51% win rate.

Guard is slowing climbing the ladder with wins but still have a hard time going X-0/X-1. They are beginning to believe!

As a reminder I only cover solo play GT+ events of at least 20ish+ players
